Winter Views of Crater Lake

This weekend, I spent three days at Crater Lake. Graced with glorious weather, I enjoyed snowshoeing along the rim, sledding and going out for my first night photography sessions. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the trip:

First time to Crater Lake? Go on the free, guided snowshoe tour at the rim in the winter. Just make sure to book in advance!

    1. In the winter you can drive up to the visitor center on the rim, but the drive is closed because of snow. So you can still see a lot of the lake or take the trek on snowshoes! Definitely worth a visit in the winter.

  1. Your photos are gorgeous. So often I am out in beautiful landscapes like these and wish I could capture the beauty on film–you have definitely managed to do so!
