While you are adjusting to the high elevation of the Himalayas on an acclimation day, enjoy the sights and sounds (and amenities) in Namche Bazaar.
Stroll the small towns winding, stone paths and shop for Yak wool clothing and blankets, cashmere, trekking gear, hiking snacks, TP, jewelry and souvenirs.
2. Go on an acclimation hike to Hotel Everest View
Get your body and mind prepared for the hiking days ahead. Take it slow and enjoy a cup of tea at the top and enjoy the mountain views. Then loop back to town with a stop at the Hillary school.
3. Warm up at a Spa
If your toes are already tired go warm up in a Sauna or rub out all yours knots with a message.
4. Comment online
Get your fill of online time here. It’s one of the last spots on the mountain where you’ll find affordable and quick Internet.
5. Sleep and shower
Enjoy a hot shower and get your rest. That’s what acclimation days are all about. As my trekking guide always said, “rest is best.”
