Dry Creek Falls Hike

Dry Creek Falls, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Looking for a quick afternoon hike in the Columbia Gorge? Pack a picnic, your tag-along-pup (or kids) and follow the Pacific Crest Trail for 2.2 miles to Dry Creek Falls, surrounded by a lovely, lush basalt amphitheater. While the trail may be named dry creek, water flows here year round, making it a wonderful trail for any season.

Getting there: From Portland, head east on I-84 to Cascade Locks. Take exit 44 into town and then turn right onto the Bridge Toll loop road. The parking lot and trail head are right before you reach the toll booth for the bridge.
