As I’m packing my bags for another adventure filled weekend, my Prana Halle pants are on the top of the heap. From mountain tops, to weekends lounging in the city, they are my go-to pants that go-anywhere. So when I was invited to participate in Prana’s #7DayStretch campaign, I gladly said yes.
For the next seven days, follow along on my social media channels as I put their product to the test and wear them for all my activities; from tomorrow’s long hike to the summit of Lake Peak to the largest Native American art market in the hot desert sun of Santa Fe, through airport transfers and bike rides, and back to work guiding around Oregon next week. Follow the hashtag #7DayStretch on instagram and twitter to see the adventures of other blogs and outdoor enthusiast in their Prana gear as well.
Fortunately, the Prana’s Halle pants are my favorite active-ware piece currently in my closet. They stretch easily when active but don’t stretch out so far that they fall off before the end of the day. They also have an interior drawstring for those skinny days. Reinforced at the knee, I can kneel down and take photos along the trail, rough up again rocks, or just plan fall on my face and not have to worry about getting a hole on first descent to the ground. While I like to sew (fun fact you probably didn’t know), patching my hiking pants doesn’t count. This summer, I’ve also been taking advantage of the fact that you can roll them up to the knee and snap secure to go from pants to capris. However, they are really ideal for fall hikes as the Halle pants are part of Prana’s Zion line of performance woven clothing featuring a durable water repellent finish.
I own these pants in both the sage green and coal colors and I wear them almost every week. You’ve probably even seen the green ones a time or two, like when I mountain biked the Wilson River trail and my recent scramble up Plummer Peak.
