#OnMyRun

running in the darkDo you love to run?

Living in Track Town USA, I have finally been bit by the running bug. In November of 2011, I decided to start training for my first long distance run, the Eugene half marathon on April 29, 2012, and hope to one day complete a full marathon as well. Though I am really a pretty pathetic runner – more like a meandering half-ass jogger – there is something so invigorating about the sport and how it surges your body full of energy.

Typically accompanying me on all of my runs is my iPhone with ear bugs plugged into a grooving Pandora station. As I run along the beautiful varied trails around Eugene, I frequently – probably more often then I really should – stop to snap photos of an intriguing view or pretty landmark.

To share these photos with you, I tag my images #OnMyRun on both Instagram (KelseyIvey) and Twitter – plus many you have probably seen in my blog stream.

Running is a great way to get to know your town and explore its many neighborhoods – and now a great way to share its personality too.

Let’s see your #OnMyRun photos!
